Ahn'Qiraj Quest Line

To open The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, you need to complete two quests: reforging The Scepter of the Shifting Sands, which enables you to start the war, and gather the resources in order to be able to fight the war (whole server participates). Bad Omen was lucky enough to get the honor of doing the quest line for reforging the scepter and thus will be the one to bang the gong and start the war when the time comes.

Since only one can do the whole quest line, but many want to see the story behind it, I will try to describe, what exactly had to be done, along with screenshots of the story.

It begins with defeating Broodlord Lashlayer and taking his head to Cenarion Hold in Silithus. There you get the orders to kill the bugs in all three hives (Ashi, Zora, Regal), until you become neutral with Brood of Nozdormu. This is the part where I'd like to thank members from (in alphabetical order) Bad Omen, Black Ravens, Blood Pact, Drunk Northrend United, Drunken Kannibals, Imbalanced, Repent, Verdict, XW and all other guilds and individuals, that helped with reputation farming. It was tedious, but we managed. When you become neutral, you get the next quest requiring you to speak with Anachronos at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. You also recieve a book (read - 217 kb) telling the story behind closing the gates in the past.

Anachronos rewards you with a ring of your choice (protector, conqueror, invoker). The first event follows, which most of you probably attended: an animation in south Silithus about the sealing of the gates in the past. After the event, I had to go back to Anachronos and got my final quest - seek out the three dragon (Eranicus, Vaelastrasz, Azuregos) and retrieve the shards from them. So you need to visit all three dragons where you get three seperate quest lines:

Once you bring him back all three shards, he grants you the Scepter of the Shifting Sands.

Now we wait ... for the completion of resource gathering to start the war!
