Rules
- RANKS
Lazy Peon When recruited your initiative rank is Lazy Peon and you automatically enter a trial period. During this trial period (which takes as long as officers see fit), points can be accumulated but not spent. Of course if there is a situation where an item drops and no full members (Peon or above) needs it, then you are welcome to have it or roll against other Lazy Peons as the case may be. After the trial period you are either promoted to a full member (Peon) or not excepted and thus have to leave the guild. Class Chiefs and above reserve the right to kick a Lazy Peon out of the guild at any time.
Peon A full member of the guild. Peons have the right to bid on items with their points and have a "voice" within the guild. Basically this means that any concerns Peons have or suggestions they wish to make as to how the guild is being run WILL be listened to and taken into consideration. If a Peon for whatever reason violates guild rules, he will recieve a warning from an officer. Repeated violation will result in removal.
Grunt To be considered for a promotion to a Grunt, you need to be a member for at least four (4) weeks and attend guild raids on regular basis (you must have raid attendancy of 20% or above). Officers will monitor all Peons in the guild and promote them accordingly. As a Grunt you have priority over Peons to attend a raid (in case it is full).
Raider To be considered for a promotion to a Raider, you need to be a member for at least eight (8) weeks and attend guild raids on regular basis (you must have raid attendancy of 40% or above). Officers will monitor all Peons and Grunts in the guild and promote them accordingly. As a Raider you have priority over Peons and Grunts to attend a raid (in case it is full).
Class Subchief A highly active and long term member of the guild who has proven him or herself to be a valubale addition to the guild. Class Subchiefs have the right to organise and lead raids on their own for which they will be responsible for the updating of the point system of guild members participating in the raid. Class Subchiefs have the right to recruit to the guild but not to remove guild members. If a Class Subchief however feels a particular guild member isn't working out, he has the right to petition the Class Chiefs or Warchief.
Class Chief High ranking member of the guild. Class Chiefs are highly involed in the actual running and management of the guild. They have the power to promote, demote, invite and remove members. Class Chiefs are of course expected to show a degree of maturity and patience in all their dealings with guild members but pissing one off for whatever reason isn't usually a good idea. Any major changes to the guild are decided by the Class Chiefs and Warchief. Class Chiefs are also in charge of handling their class, with the help of Class Subchief, if they appointed one.
Warchief The guild leader. The warchief has the final say on all major guild decisions and if he tells you to do something you better!
- RAIDS
For all PvE raids we will be using a modified version of Dragon Kill Points (DKP) system. DKP is a system where you are awarded points for attending raids. In order to bid for an epic or above item you have to get enough points from previous raids. You can never have negative number of DKP.
The locations and amount of DKP you can earn: - Zul'Gurub: 1 points (whole run) - Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj: 1 points (whole run)
- Onyxia's Lair: 1 point
- Molten Core: 4 points (main), 1 point (alt) - Blackwing Lair: 3 points (whole run) - Temple of Ahn'Qiraj: 4 points (whole run) - Naxxramas: 5 points
Raids are announced well in advanced and players need to sign up for them on the main page (you need to login to do so). The sign ups for a raid are usually closed and finalised one day before the raid day. Selected participants are expected to be online on time, so the raid can begin as scheduled. If you were selected to participate in a raid and fail to show up, we will deduct the amount of points you would otherwise earn. Free For All looting system is used on raids, but looting during combat is strictly prohibited (one point is deducted per user per combat loot).
When an epic or above item drops you have to buy yourself the privilege to bid on the item in question. The fee is the same for all items and is 1 point. The starting bid for all epic or above items is 3 points.
When a really rare pattern, schematic, plan or recipe drops, Grunts or above are elegible to roll for it, if they can use it at that time.
Some extra points will be awarded or deducted in the following situations: - +2 points for leading a 40 man raid and inputing the points and loot - -1 point for unannounced AFK (which is less then 5 min) - 0 points if you go AFK all the time - -1 point for minor mistakes that have been explained numerous times - 0 points for major mistakes (that can even result in a wipe)
- GUILD BANK
Below is a list of items that we collect as a guild. These items drop on 40 man raids and thus cannot be obtained individually. That is why we collect them as a guild and give our members a chance to buy these items out with their points.
Below is the list which has the name of the item, its location and the amount of points needed to buy it: - Lava Core (MC) - 1 point per item - Fiery Core (MC) - 1 point per item - Core Leather (MC) - 1 point per 5 items - Dark Iron Ore (BRD, MC) - 1 point per stack of eight items - Dark Iron Bar (smelted in BRD from dark iron ore) - 1 point per item - Blood of the Mountain (BRD, MC) - 1 point per item - Nexus Crystal (disenchant) - 1 point per item - Dreamscale (outdoor dragons) - 1 point per item
- PLAYER CONDUCT
Guild members relations with other players on the server are important and we ask that all members show respect and patience to all fellow faction members at all times. This guildline extends to IRC and forums. If players repeatedly exhibit immature or disrespectful behaviour they can expect to be kicked. Players must also obey all the rules set by Blizzard (eg. no rooftop ganking).
- ALTS (Alternative characters)
All alternative characters are welcome to join our alt guild MAD Altz. As for now you are allowed to have one (1) alt, that you can gear up in instances (currently ZG, AQ20, Onyxia, MC). If a player is really unhappy with their class choice then we can change their re-roll to be their main (special occasions).
